Thinking of the family I never knew on this #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay. Especially Ida Hoffer whose photo I grew up with without knowing what she had suffered. Ida was murdered with her sisters Laura and Klara -all three shot in the neck in front of a pit in Maly Trostinec by the Nazis. They were my great aunts. I found them researching my book #TheWritingOnTheWall. Today and every day I think of you.
